Butler started shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller set in Mallorca beginning in November of 2011. This film would also be made on location in Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she joined Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles shooting of Treachery. Butler appeared in The Demented, a 2013 horror movie with Michael Welch, Kayla Ewell and Michael Welch.
